He also has a Master’s in Accounting and Financial Management. He completed the CFP® training at Oglethorpe University and is a Certified Financial PlannerTM practitioner, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Outside business hours, he's an able-bodied sailor, competent fencer with foil and epee, can move metal with a forge and anvil, can build most anything with wood or metal, plays a little piano and a little less guitar, loves learning new languages, collects folk music instruments and professional credentials, and referees a mean game of kickball. His kids think he's a pretty cool dad (if they want to keep their iPad's anyway.)
CFP® is a certification mark owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and is awarded to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements
